Depending on whether you are renting a property or booking a package through Euro Escapes, there will

Terms & Conditions for Vacation Rentals
Reservations for Vacation rentals
A minimum deposit of half (50%) of the rental price is required at time of booking to secure a reservation. After receiving the deposit, a booking confirmation will be issued incorporating the rental fee,
Security deposit (where applicable) and the cost of any additional services requested, less the initial payment. Reservations cannot be booked without a deposit. Final payment is due 60 days prior to arrival date. If booked fewer than 60 days prior arrival date, full payment is due upon booking. If the final payment is not received by this time, the booking will be cancelled and the deposit forfeited. Payment may be made by check or credit card. Checks must be drawn on a US bank, payable in US dollars. All bookings are subject to availability.
Cancellation
Our cancellation provisions are as follows: If notice of a cancellation is received in writing 180 days or more before arrival date,
75 percent of the initial deposit will be returned; if received between179
and 90 days before arrival, 50 percent of the deposit will be refunded. After
that time, no refund will be given. Failure to pay the final balance due by 60 days before arrival may be deemed a cancellation with no refund due. Security deposits are fully refundable. We strongly recommend that clients purchase Trip Cancellation insurance. A claim for refund can be filed subject to the conditions of your Trip Cancellation insurance policy.
It is very unlikely that we will have to make any changes to confirmed arrangements. However, if for any reason beyond our control we are unable to honor the property booking, we will make every effort to replace it with a similar property. If this is not possible or you do not wish to rent the suggested property, we will cancel the booking and make a full refund immediately.
Insurance
We highly recommend that our clients purchase adequate travel insurance to cover trip cancellation or interruption; baggage loss, damage or delay; or illness. Euro Escapes will not be held responsible for baggage loss or damage.
Security Deposit
A refundable security deposit will be collected if indicated in the property listing and the booking confirmation. Property owners set the amount and terms of these deposits, and they vary widely. It is payable no less than 60 days prior to your arrival date. If there is any breakage, necessary cleaning or outstanding bills, Euro Escapes reserves the right on behalf of the owners, to deduct these costs from the deposit. In the event of charges or costs in excess of the security deposit, the client will reimburse Euro Escapes accordingly.
If, in rare instances, the property owner and client disagree over charges to be withheld from the security deposit, Euro Escapes will contact the property owner or its agent to request verification of the charges. Euro Escapes will make every effort to mediate such disputes. But, in most cases, we will accept the owner's word regarding the extent of breakage.
In most instances, the refundable amount of the security deposit will be returned 4-8 weeks after the end of your rental period, after the final telephone bill has been received. Since telephone bills are issued on a bimonthly basis in some European countries, this may take as long as 10 weeks.
Should problems arise
Euro Escapes is committed to complete customer satisfaction. Complaints about the property must be reported to the owner or local agent during the stay, and the client must allow the owner or local agent to resolve the problem. Leaving the property will not entitle the client to a refund.
Euro Escapes can accept no complaints made after the client's stay.
If the complaint is not resolved to your satisfaction during your stay, please advise Euro Escapes of your grievance in writing no later than one month following the end of your rental period. We will do our best to see that the matter is resolved at that time.
Every effort has been made to ensure that the contents of our website and advertising are accurate. All properties are checked regularly and the descriptions are made in good faith. We cannot however, be held responsible for any alterations made by the owner without our knowledge. Euro Escapes will not accept responsibility for the breakdown of supplies of gas, water or electricity, nor of swimming pool filtration systems. Owners or their designated representatives will make every effort to solve problems of this nature immediately upon notification.
Liability
The use of the property and amenities, including swimming pools, boats, bicycles, etc., is entirely at the user's risk. Neither Euro Escapes nor its associated agents or owners can be held responsible for injury to a user or visitor and loss or damage to the user or visitor's belongings. Neither Euro Escapes nor its associated agents or owners can be held responsible for loss/damage to any vehicle or its contents.
Under French law, renters are responsible for the property and its contents during their stay, and liability is not limited to the amount of the breakage deposit. We know of no insurance policy currently available in the U.S. covering personal liability in France. We encourage you to avoid unnecessary risks, which could cause damage for which you can be held responsible.
Cleaning
Please leave the property in the same condition as you found it. Unless your vacation rental includes maid service, dishes must be washed and put away, and all trash and bottles must be removed to the designated receptacle. Cleaning costs in Europe are high. Should excessive cleaning be required following your stay, it will be charged at prevailing rates and charged to your security deposit.
Rates
Euro Escapes is an agent for owners directly as well as for rental agencies.
Although our rates are generally the same as renting directly from the owner, rates may include
an agency's commission, which can be higher than renting directly from an owner. However, Euro Escapes provides a variety of client services which facilitate the reservation/rental process and enhance the quality of the your stay. These services, such as itinerary planning, route directions, and sightseeing information are generally not offered by individual
owners and cost a considerable amount of money if purchased separately.
Because of currency fluctuations, variable seasonal rates and the fact that many property owners do not wish to have their prices published for worldwide inspection on the Internet, we do not
always state specific rental rates on this website. We may offer a Price range from low to high for the property, which should give you a good idea as to the rate for the time of year that you will be traveling. Prices are not negotiable, however you may receive a rate reduction when renting a property for more than two weeks.
Privacy
Euro Escapes believes in your privacy and hates SPAM. We will not sell or share any of your personal information with any other company. And we will not send you any unauthorized emails or brochures.

Final documents
All package documents such as tickets, hotel and car rental vouchers, museum or sightseeing passes will be sent via Express Mail three weeks prior to departure.
What is not included
Air transportation. Personal expenses such as telephone charges, room service, excess baggage fees, laundry, meals, and beverages not specified in the package description. Airport departure taxes, transportation other than that specifically mentioned in the package description. Car upgrades, passport or visa costs, gratuities and any other items not specifically mentioned as being included in the cost of the package.
Rates and Fares
All rates and fares are quoted in US dollars and are accurate at the time of publication. They include administrative and other associated costs relative to production preparation. All prices are per person, based on double occupancy. Prices are subject to change at any time up until full payment is made. In the event of a major foreign currency increase, or other events beyond our control, rates may be revised and you will be informed in writing.
Consent
The payment of the deposit or any partial or full payment for a reservation shall constitute consent to all provisions and conditions stated herein.
Cancellation
After a deposit has been made, all cancellations will incur an administrative
fee of $100. per person. Note: all cancellations must be in writing. For
cancellations received 45 days prior to departure, a complete refund (minus the
administrative charge) will be provided. For cancellations received up to 30
days before departure a refund of 50% will be provided. For cancellations
received 29 days or fewer before departure, no refund will be given. For this
reason, we recommend Travel Insurance. (see below) There will also be no refunds
for unused portions of a tour or package. This includes accommodations, missed
meals, golf rounds, cooking classes or sightseeing arrangements.
Responsibility
Euro Escapes and its representatives act only as agents for the passenger in making arrangements for air, hotels, transportation, sightseeing, or other services offered herein. The individual participant and/or purchaser, by acceptance of the program in the form of payment, agrees that Euro Escapes and its agents shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, accident, delay or irregularity, liability or expense, to person or property due to an act or default of any hotel, carrier or other service provider included herein. The air tickets, vouchers, coupons, or contracts currently in use by any air carrier, hotel, or other service provider shall constitute the sole contract between the tour/ package participant and such contractor.
Euro Escapes, its agents and suppliers accept no responsibility for any damage, delay or irregularity, expense or liability arising from: sickness, theft, labor disputes, machinery breakdown, quarantine, government restraints, war, or weather conditions, defect in any vehicle of transportation, nor any additional expenses or damages due to changes in advertised schedules or services, or any other cause beyond their control.
Euro Escapes reserves the right to cancel, change or substitute any service, or to decline to accept or retain any tour member at any time or for any reason, including insufficient number of participants.
Privacy
Euro Escapes believes in your privacy and hates SPAM. We will not sell or share any of your personal information with any other company. And we will not send you any unauthorized emails or brochures.
Travel Documents
For travel outside the United States, US citizens require a valid passport. The passport expiration date must be no earlier than 6 months prior to the return date. Visa requirements should be checked at the time of booking. On independent tours with a rental car, the driver must be over 21 and present a valid drivers license.
Golf Handicap Certificate
Though rules have relaxed in the past few years, a valid handicap certificate and/or letter of introduction stating your handicap might be necessary to play on some courses. Euro Escapes will make you aware of course requirements before booking your tee-times. Euro Escapes accepts no responsibility for clients refused golf due to non-compliance with any course's regulations.
